Hi guys and gals, I am looking for a definition of Differential Advantage and an explanation of why its a negative influence. What I find on the net is orientated to business and promotes it. I find when I try to explain it, it turns into a ramble. Anyone have a distinct definition they can offer and a brief explanation? Thanks.
I don't know but to me it's something like an Advantage someone has over others because of what their producing seems to be a better deal for whatever reason. But that's usually being the result of some type of Manipulation/Corruption in the whole process to achieve this.
I understand what it is, I'm just looking for a concise definition that I can relay to someone else. What it means is that one person has an advantage over another for various reasons. In an economic sense, the rich man is going to get his way over the poor man because of the value we assign to monetary wealth. So he has the advantage. Not due to one person being better than the other, or one being right and the other wrong, but simply by one person having more than the other. This process plays out across society in many ways. See? It's getting rambly already. I think I just have to sit down and work on this. It's a hard concept for me to explain in a rational way. I think I heard Peter J explain it in a way that made sense in that interview he had with that nutjob Alex Jones. I think I'll go re-watch it, even though I can't stand Alex Jones. Maybe that will help.
"simply by one person having more than the other."
yup, makes sense to me. The Wealthier you are the more Economic Advantages you can receive.
