Lightbulb CLIME system - closely related project for cooperation?

If we could start from scratch, what would a new economic system look like? I found a book, that describes a global system, where money, work, commerce and community are integrated in new ways, using social/technical innovations that are already in daily use.

This book is the practical blueprint of a new system that offers opportunities for meaningful work and ownership of the sources of prosperity not just to a few, but to everyone.

In this system, every individual has the power to change the system for the betterment of themselves and every other participant. Being at the top of the heap is no longer a prerequisite. Everyone who is powerless in the current arrangement is empowered in this new system. Empowered to not just better themselves and their family, but better their community and through that organization, the larger community of Planet Earth.

If you would like to know more about Charles Hugh Smith's book "A Radically Beneficial World: Automation, Technology and Creating Jobs for All: The Future Belongs to Work That Is Meaningful", then you can visit this link.

    Hi.

This ideas sounds interesting. What is the CLIME System? And what does 'Meaningful Work' and a 'Community Based Economy' also mean in a system like this? Thanks

Hi! It is a technological system, where money (cryptocurrency) is backed by work and decentralised. It also needs longer explanation, but the book describes it a lot better, than I could do it.

The money is created, when people create new work projects and complete them, so there is no scarcity of jobs. Community based means, that the system in non hierarhical (P2P) and the software is distributed, communities in that system evolve in a natural way.

    Ok Thanks.

Sounds like a system that's getting away from the centralized Banks/Governments control which is always good to weaken their influence in our Economy. The regular people who make the economy work are the ones who should truly Benefit from the Wealth & Resources.

Seeing that it's still a Money based system, I still wonder how any system still using money can ever bring us True Equality & Prosperity to all corners of society and not develop some type of apparent Social Stratification where some enjoy a lot more of the wealth that's produce by society as a Whole System.

I do like how it focuses on Technology & Automation. If it can use these applications to assist us in bringing more value to our Lives and not just hold back this type of progress for Social growth like we see today then I think that would be an Important path for a Fair Economic System.

To establish another newly founded economic system, would it be the same as recreating a monetarism society. The principals of supply and demand may/will let to a single company controlling most a particular resource where they, now the elite, fabricate all expenses. It's like having the believing it's a democracy, but in reality the elite of the riches hasn't change- if so. I say this because I quite new to this movement and have not read the chapter books yet.

But what if a new improvement of the that technology becomes more effective then the previous tech. What would happen to those who aren't familiar to it. Would they be educated or what?
