so I guess what you're trying to say is that you're impervious to this type of behavior

Nope, that would be co-incidental to what I'm trying to say

But I wouldn't be the only one... the cameraman obviously didn't run with the cattle.

    Have a look at this:

    Solomon Asch experiment (1958)
    A study of conformity

To Asch's surprise, 37 of the 50 subjects conformed themselves to the 'obviously erroneous' answers given by the other group members at least once, and 14 of them conformed on more than 6 of the 'staged' trials. When faced with a unanimous wrong answer by the other group members, the mean subject conformed on 4 of the 'staged' trials.

Asch was disturbed by these results: "The tendency to conformity in our society is so strong that reasonably intelligent and well-meaning young people are willing to call white black. This is a matter of concern. It raises questions about our ways of education and about the values that guide our conduct.

So, maybe the first step in battling that behavior is to first label conformity "uncool" and laugh at it. That way, in trying to conform to cool behavior, they stop trying to conform altogether. I suppose if this thread has a point, that would be it because those videos just happened to fall in my lap as I read the news that day and I thought, "Have we gone nowhere in millions of years of evolution from insects to humans???" It's a shame that I'm the only one who thinks it's funny, but that also seems to prove my point.

I wish I could say it's an exaggeration. My grandmother was in the hospital a couple years ago and my phone was dying, so I thought I'd inquire at the nurse's station if anyone had a microUSB cord I could borrow. Not one nurse did. In fact, they had to call a guy from another floor because he's the only person (apparently) in the whole hospital who didn't have an iphone. That bothered me on two fronts: First, why does everyone have the same phone? Second, why does Apple insist on proprietary plugs? I hate that company more than you hate Molyneux

I also don't like apple at all ,it does appear more like a cult to me. their hardware is weak, but software i must say is top notch.

i'm a simple man and this is my phone -

i'm using android phone only for programming purposes. the propriety plugs are pain in the butt, hopefully in a future society we'll have none of this crap.

I don't hate Molyneux that much, he's just a dude trying to make ends meet in a monetary system. actually, some of his latest videos i agree with.
