Lee Camp - on the Deep State coup and media "cheering" it on
Deep State...AKA; The Congressional Military Industrial Complex has been pulling strings at least since Truman was president (Ike warned us all) and won't be stopping any time soon.....
....and the reality is that both parties support (or look the other way) Deep State efforts whenever it serves their own particular agendas/vision....

It only makes me wonder more deeply;
Is Trump simply Americas 'first' puppet prez, or just its most recent?
Evidence of Americas military strength is obvious to the entire world (and that doesn't include 'Dark' money/ops), yet many Americans seem to be overwhelmingly convinced that we must spend even more on war...and the prevention.....No, no, let's be real...the "expansion" of both invented and real conflicts around the globe, particularly in those regions where resources and or its citizens are deemed of value to the worlds parasites....AKA; Landlords......and then sinisterly disguised as pursuing so-called 'National Interests'....when in reality, it is a handful of 'individuals' who make the decisions, pull the strings, manipulate the data and citizenry....for their own purposes and benefit.....
That's what is stinking up the world right now IMO......Its what has 'historically' always stunk up this place and wrecked previous civilizations....
The Rotting from the inside by small minded, self obsessed, greedy people with too much power.....
No one owns the water
No one owns the land
No one owns the oceans
No one owns the sand
These are given by our Mother
This planet provides for Free
Only by the hands of the Greedy
Does the Earth require a fee.....
Humans desperately and collectively need to 'ask one simple question' (and begin demanding an answer):
Why are we the only species on Earth that 'pays to live' here?
Could it be that humanity has been living under 'false' premises for the last 10-20,000 years and that we're finally waking/evolving to another possibility?
The forces against such thinking/action is strong and firmly in place.....but the evidence of ROTTING is everywhere for all to see and smell.....
I guess its something akin to 'cleaning the Hen House' (minimally an annual event around here, just completed).....if left uncleaned, Eventually the stink gets so bad the chickens stop laying eggs in the boxes provided, preferring to lay someplace more safe, less stinky....even outside with the threat of natural predators ....
People ....we can only hold our noses so long....before ACTION is taken.......tick, tock, tick

When it comes to carrying their Deep State plans for the World. They have all the available resources they Want to accomplish any of their plans. But when it comes to plans for Poverty, Healthcare, Water, Peace etc.. all hell breaks loose on How, Why, Where resources are going to come from to accomplish this? We can do Wars & Pollute the Environment like no tomorrow but dealing with people's Lives and how to make them better causes nothing but Unnecessary drama. But like I said when it comes to the plans that the Deep State want to fulfill, they get it done. WTF!!!
I think we live in a time where our intelligence levels can only go up because through Technology, information & knowledge will become available to more & more people around the Globe. But what people do with that knowledge is what's going to decide how much Change we make in the Future. Right now I feel like people are acquiring this knowledge of the World but haven't put it all together to begin making those immense changes we Need to make. Maybe their Values & Priorities haven't caught up with this knowledge yet but it's essential that they both meet in a Symbiotic way.
The Deep State Lacks this Values/Priorities shift and won't provide the leadership they hold to improve the lives of the regular folks. Their job is to keep to the agendas of well themselves and all their Powerful Elite Cronies. Until people finally realize that the Deep States goals are NOT the same as their own, we'll continue to repeat these Rivalries in Society where the few continue to win while the Many Loose out on the opportunities for a Better Life for them and their families.
Knowledge is the Key. But what we do with it is all that really matters in the very end ..
WHY? The simple answer is Human GREED.
...and not asking honest questions such as; what are we doing with all of our knowledge right now?
Not much that could be described as smart as far as I can tell.....at least not by any other creature than perhaps our fellow Human Beings IMO... If we exclude all of our wonderful, profit generating inventions....what do we really have?
If dogs or frogs could talk, what would they tell us?

I've heard of the military industrial complex, but I'm not familiar with the congressional military industrial complex.

He's partially wrong (e.g., humans are technically biologically mammals) but he does have a point about how we compare to a virus. We're capable of being more efficient and thorough than a virus, though, because all we have to do is push some buttons and it's the ending from the movie Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb for all life on the planet.
However, we're still here & the reason why is because that same brainpower we have that gives up the ability to be the most dominant organism on the planet, even without the fangs, claws, jaws, or venom to neutralize our adversaries, also gives us the capability to comprehend cooperation & collaboration beyond any other organism.
Unfortunately it's not inherently harmonious. The raw natural resources that are available are far below the levels that we need to survive (i.e., resources are naturally scarce), and without the technology to do things for us, someone has to put in the manual labor to increase the availability of needed resources to a level closer to what we need in order for everyone to survive. Those with the ability to produce need to be able to produce and provide for themselves and their family; otherwise they perish and the resource of manual labor gets reduced or stops. We learn from experience and history that those who have certain abilities, such as manual labor, can and do help with meet the needs for others as well as for themselves efficiently when they divide up individually, practice, and concentrate their efforts in specific tasks so all the needed goods and services are being produced in higher volume than if each individual was being completely self sufficient.
Part of the reason it's not inherently harmonious is because a checks & balance system is necessary to prevent someone from taking advantage of those who are providing goods and services. Those individuals who are lazy are denied access to the goods and services of those who aren't lazy. If this system of checks and balances isn't there, that efficiency will not be there because everyone can be lazy & when everyone can be lazy, nothing gets produced. The solution humans came up with resulted in a system that requires our species to pay to live here.
Now, I know that in the past you liked to insist that scarcity is an illusion; do you still insist on that claim? All the evidence in the world that I've looked at says otherwise, when it comes to the raw or natural resources that are readily available. Yes, the planet does provide that raw/natural stuff for free, but it seems to me that what you neglect to mention is that it's not nearly enough for everyone or it's not accessible to everyone spread around the world, and manual labor efforts from others have to be utilized in order to change that. I'm willing to be shown that I'm wrong, if you want to do that; I'm not picky about how you do it (it doesn't have to be some sort of formal proof or detailed calculations of energy, locations of resources & proximity of people spread around the world to those resources, etc.).
Please do more than just tell me that if I look around I'll be able to see it; maybe I'm blind and need your help to learn to see it & if that's the case, then maybe there are many others just like me (and it seems like it's almost the entire population of the world) who need just as much help. Will it require me to continue to exert manual labor to access this abundance, or do I have to delegate the task of manual labor to someone else? If I have to delegate the task of exerting manual labor to others, how can this be arranged without compensating them in exchange for it? Do I not have to be concerned that others will deplete what the planet provides for free before I can get what I need? If I do exert manual labor or delegate that task to associates, do we not have to be concerned that others will deplete the resources that my associates and I put effort into creating? Will I be forced to perform any tasks in order to be able to gain access to what the planet provides for free & if so, doesn't that essentially mean that I actually have to pay for it and it's not really free? Will there be walls with guns to keep me from escaping?
These are questions that must all be addressed, but I have yet to see an answer (especially or particularly the preferable corresponding "yes" or "no", etc.) for even one of these questions. Until there's an explanation, people are going to continue to just give you that blank or awkward stare when you try to persuade them of things such as that scarcity is an illusion, or to give what they have away that is very limited in quantity or availability that only exists in the first place as a result of their toil, and continue to expect to be compensated (so they can in turn compensate others for their toil), and place walls, doors with locks, or men with guns around the things in which they invested time, effort, risk, and sacrifice to produce.
What I really find perplexing and disappointing is that so many people (even some on this forum!) either fail or neglect to see that the implementation of automation, robotics, and other forms of technology shows promise (and it's the only one that does this, too) in possibly eliminating the need for manual labor & as a result of the elimination of the need for manual labor, many other dominoes will fall - abject hunger, homelessness, poverty, crime, corruption, war, etc. I beg someone to explain why that is, to me.
Answer to what? Do you think greed is a root cause of something or do you think it's a symptom of something? I think it's a symptom of something. How do you propose we deal with greed?
