We have just passed the carbon tipping point of 400 parts per million.....forever.

Goodbye World: We?ve Passed the Carbon Tipping Point For Good | Motherboard

"What’s so terrifying about this number? For several years now, scientists have been warning us that if atmospheric carbon were allowed to surpass 400 parts per million, it would mark a serious “milestone.” In 2012, the Arctic was the first region on Earth to cross this red line. Three years later, for the first time since scientists had begun to record them, carbon levels remained above 400 parts per million for an entire month."

"This time, experts believe we’re stuck here for good, due to the cyclical effects of Mauna Loa’s CO2 curve. Carbon levels usually reach an annual low point near the end of September, Scripps notes, but this year, those numbers are hovering around 401 parts per million."

"While difficult to estimate, extinction rates have accelerated to 1,000 times their rate before the existence of modern Homo sapiens. The World Wildlife Fund guesses 10,000 species could become extinct every year. Due to climate change, The Nature Conservancy suggests one fourth of Earth’s species could be on their way to extinction by 2050."

"In the near future, humans, among other species, will be catastrophically affected by sea level changes. As ancient glaciers begin to melt, and thermal expansion occurs, coastlines elsewhere will flood, and communities will become displaced. By 2100, approximately 13 million people in the US are projected to lose their homes due to rising sea levels. "

What do you guys think of this milestone? The effects of climate change are going to be accelerating at an exponential rate. Even if we put the breaks on everything we are doing right now in terms of carbon emission, the carbon dioxide levels will never fall below this marker without human intervention.

You have spammed this forum with anti-climate change rhetoric from fringe scientists paid by companies like Exxon to do so. Let me ask you something, how much are they paying you?

So who are you going to complain to when the Environment has had enough and Forces you to Change. If we don't believe Scientist then who can we believe? Because when Nature comes calling, you better believe it's going to make you Believe.

Perhaps....we could simply return to believing Nature, no? Nature seeks no fans.....she just does what she does....

    ....or as many have professed for at least as long as the World has had LANDLORDS;

Has 10,000 years of Human self importance removed our collective ability to reconnect with our Mother Earth, thus with each other, in any meaningful way?

Does humanity on any meaningful scale seek the 'sounds of collective consciousness' in any way without injecting our own self worth, usually front and center?.........or has technology 'helped' transform us into a lot of separated I's....wandering around in a billion directions seeking the same answers to the same questions?....but we were too distracted, too cheap, too tired and weary to notice that the answers have been there all along?

Did you actually watch the video clip in that thread, as I was requesting?

Freeman Dyson is a highly respected scientist and professor emeritus for one of the most prestigious universities in the world; is he a fringe scientist, to you?

In the video clip, he states that there is human caused climate change; is that what you're referring to as anti-climate change rhetoric?

What evidence do you have that he's paid by companies like Exxon to do so?

If you're not referring to the thread with Freeman Dyson, when you claim I spammed this forum, which ones are you referring to? How do you define "spammed"? What is "anti-climate change rhetoric"? What is a fringe scientist, and what's your criteria for determining so? What evidence do you have that the scientists I did post are paid by companies like Exxon? What do you mean by companies like Exxon, and what is the significance of being a company like Exxon?

I suppose you can subjectively label respected scientists and professors as fringe if you want to because they don't agree with your beliefs, but that doesn't mean anyone else has to take you seriously. What is serious is what the scienists in the climategate incident did; for a scientist to hide the decline in data is objectively corrupt. I think being objectively corrupt is far worse than being subjectively fringe.

I have never gotten paid anything to post something on this forum, and I am not expecting payment from anyone for anything I have ever posted on this forum, either. I don't need to get paid to post anything, here; spreading truth and awareness is its own reward, to me.

Now it's your turn to answer the question. How much are you getting paid to spam this forum with this crony capitalism hysteria propaganda? How much do you have invested in carbon credit trading?

One last thing, have you ever heard of someone named Jacque Fresco - before reading this reply?

The notion that laws/regulations are attempts to do something about any problem are contrary to what Jacque Fresco has stated about that:

What else is there other than to transitioning to a post scarcity society? This is the only possible solution for dealing with any human activities that are having any kind of impact on the environment, even if human-caused global warming is actually happening.
