There 'may' be no absolute proof that humans are contributing to climate change, although the evidence is certainly mounting....and convincing

But 'we are the only species' on the planet (the self-proclaimed intelligent one?) contributing to the pollution/DEATH that grows larger every day along with our obsessive consumption of useless crap.....

Lets debate 'that' for a bit......

Yes now that there is a Fact. I guess it has just become part of our new Human Programming. Consuming consuming consuming because it's all we know how to do to make ourselves feel better about our Lives I suppose. Can you say Out Of Touch with being Human anymore..

Well, anything and everything contributes to climate change to some degree. This includes plants, animals, and Earth itself; for example tectonic plate movement:

We're a species - and possibly the only one - capable of both consciously destroying and protecting Earth at the same time; same goes with creating elaborate scams.

My friends; I fear we may have ceased 'being' human some time ago....and that getting our humanness back will entail and require efforts previously unseen....and never before met....at least not on a global scale...

It seems clear to this old man that the majority will continue to revolt meaningful changes that could benefit all people, all life, in favor of continuing the irrational quest for false Gods and Saviors ...and of course, more stuff...

Witnessing the ongoing perpetuation with this self obsessed illusionary world over these many years, as I reach twilight, I fear we may be too far along the path of self destruction to turn back anymore.....

While we are obviously an intelligent, albeit confused and pitiful species, due to an accepted conditioning that began generations ago, we lack the necessary ability/character/humbleness/humility to self correct....or have forgotten how to tap into this knowledge and accept our proper place on this planet or anywhere in the universe......

Despite technological advances we lack the collective maturity to advance/evolve society very far from our current course....

One thing I'd like to broach regarding this subject is that unless you're one of these evangelical types or the like, you may know and accept that all organisms can and do evolve & adapt to their environment. The Earth and its climate is an environment that's always changing, and this has been happening ever since the Earth developed a climate.

But what about Capitalism? Does it evolve & change. Can it, will it?! Because we know the Earth will continue on its own path but what about Capitalism. Can it evolve & adapt to Earth? Capitalism hasn't been here that long and so far it looks like it doesn't give a sh*t about it. So how can we compare our Natural Evolution to something that's Invented & Unnatural? How out of touch with Nature do we have to be to not see this ..

Climate change is essentially being used as an excuse to perpetuate capitalism (the crony capitalism stuff - carbon taxes/credits/markets/trading). I'm just as curious as you are about the things you're saying & questions you're asking here.

Communist ideology doesn't have a monopoly on the concept of taxation.
