The Auravana Project
Not sure if they've gotten a 'Shout-Out' already. Check them out Peeps.
Thank you Ernest for posting a link to our open source and free shared project. We have just recently updated the website, updated the specifications, and produced a series podcasts/youtube videos that provide a fairly comprehensive overview to our proposal.
Our youtube channel is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAV...z1Qql4dfjO7hAg Unfortunately, our well put-together video on circular cities in community has been removed due to a copyright claim by The Venus Project corporation. We discuss the issue on our Conflict Resolution webpage (http://auravana.com/conflict-resolution); and may we also recommend our video on cooperation and sharing among organizations with the appearance of a similar aim to us https://youtu.be/h_sUTiHyA-o where we also discuss the issue in the comments.
We have a lot of content on the website and the specifications themselves are very detailed, we do hope that we are evolving this direction (at least we are doing so the best we can).

It's really unfortunate that Groups with Comparable goals feel sometimes that they have to 'protect' own view of what a Transition should look like. All their doing really is hurting the much needed Promotion/Publicity that they would garner in working with others on similar paths. Cooperation & Sharing are Values that we Need to hold on to because otherwise we are just behaving like Capitalist.

I wouldn't have believed TVP could be so 'human' as to have lowered themselves to doing what most humans do when feeling even 'slightly' threatened; fight, flee, f&%k, feed or get a lawyer and file a suit.... we can be so predictable... predictable dumb....
"We've all become predictably dumb"..... (kudos to PF)
This clearly examples why it'll be a while before any kind of Transition takes place......when those advocating for the ONE have no clue what it actually means....
Good luck AURAVANA! Seriously....Good Luck....
Well they are in fact human just like the rest of us & I'm not saying they're wrong (or right).

We all have feet of clay my friend....even JF....but don't say it too loud.........

one thing i noticed about peter joseph and jacque fresco is that they are always mentioning their inspiration and influences. for example jacque mentions Buckminster fuller, Bose, stuart chase, technocracy, hayakawa, and many many other people who influenced him.
PEOPLE APPRECIATE ORIGINALITY AND AUTHENTICITY and this is why they appreciate jacque who combined many ideas and added some of his own to create his resource based economy system.
so what i'm trying to ask is - what new idea did you came up with? and why not mention TVP and TZM as an influence?
He's running a business & selling things - what capitalists do:

Free-market capitalists are not fans of big government; JF - as someone who says things such as that politicians aren't trained to solve problems & that the solution to society's problems are technical, not political, and that what he's advocating is a society with no police, no prisons, etc., that essentially makes him someone who's also not a fan of big government.
Seems to me like you're a hallucinating Eskimo.
If you can provide me with something substantive to show that he isn't a free-market capitalist, please do so. It'll be interesting to see how you can explain that he's not a free-market capitalist given the $200 fee for his TVP seminars & tours, the selling of his books, his political stance, etc.
