    In my experience it has been best to simply allow these folks to expose themselves (the amateurs always do)...and let them move on....

    They become 'target' pariahs for life....seeking apologies/forgiveness for the errors committed, the bridges burned, or they adapt and conform to the demands of the status quo....

    I'm sure they're aware of the implications (so much for freewill ). It's like some people are just natural born leaders and are willing to take the risks because....well, you know, they know they can handle it.
