That is our collective destiny my friends..an evolutionary recognition that we have ONE world with ONE Human Race...and that our borders are arbitrary and long past any usefulness.....This world needs more openness not 'more' Nationalism.

Unfortunately, we are currently repeating many of the same mistakes made in 'pre-modern' Europe and the Americas as people in developing countries 'feel' they can also 'cash in' on the 'abundance' remaining, much as our ancestors felt 100 plus years ago as modernization took root........SEE European History (what conditions brought about 2 world wars) and the similarities to modern times......SEE ISIS....some of the comparisons will surprise many IMHO

While rich nations continue to promote and engage 'their right' to conquer and/or control the lives and resources of others....the world waits, fights and even commits acts of terror for a SHARING economy....or what some have been conditioned to believe is 'welfare'.....

Fascist - a person who is very intolerant or domineering in a particular area.

That looks like you. You're intolerant of people wanting to stay to their own.

    That's what I'm saying.

Um, well, since you asked... Look what a toilet this city has become:

Detroit Is A Stark Reminder Peak America Was Over 50 Years Ago | Zero Hedge

I thought you knew....heck, I thought Everyone knew where I am coming from.......Alas, listening/comprehending the words of others must as foreign as READING, heh?

"I'm INTOLERANT of intolerance, Dude"........particularly the form promoted by......those with little understanding how they undermine and subject themselves to the narrative of the day.....Self obsessed individuality and a lack of any historical perspective...a weird form of self enslavement....IMHO

Greed and openly accepted corruption is what destroyed Detroit....but according to friends it is coming back in both small ways and some pretty big ways....THANKS to the people who want it, who are 'working' to make it so......certainly not those who just sit back, point fingers and complain about others all the time....

Right on... no fence, border, wall or immigration policy could stop people from moving freely on the good earth , and of course it is their natural right to do so.
It is still funny though to see nationalists fighting to preserve their antiquated ideology.... while it is collapsing in front of their eyes.

The Alt-Right is quite often accused of collectivism by libertarians and conservatives. While there is a degree of truth to this, the fact of the matter is that groups will always out-compete lone individuals. And, contrary to what self-proclaimed individualists claim, free thinking can go hand-in-hand with ethnic consciousness. In fact, the classical liberal ideals championed by contemporary individualists were created by ethnonationalists.

You're probably right, but that doesn't mean it's good.

ONE world with ONE Human Race.
How about we have one race of animal too. And plants! That's terribly boring. Alan Watts would vomit at the thought. Variety is more interesting.

    "I'm INTOLERANT of intolerance, Dude"
So, you're tolerant of child molesters? Since you can't tolerate intolerance, you would have to be.

certainly not those who just sit back, point fingers and complain about others all the time....
It's tough to tell if you're talking about others or yourself sometimes.

    Parable of the critters:

I'm having a hard time feeding my pets because the wild critters keep eating their food. I don't have the balls to callously shoot the invaders, so I thought, "Why don't I simply put out more food so there is enough for everyone?" Then I realized that I would be overrun with critters if I did that. If I start feeding the coons, their population would explode. They would be reliant on my providing food and would have no skills or mechanism of competition since all they would need to do is eat out of a bowl. Since there is no competition, the entire family would forget how to survive in the wild. If I ever stopped providing food, they would all starve and the bloodline would go extinct. It seems to me that caring for them, and consequently making them weak, would be more cruel than forcing them to sink or swim on their own.

I hate the way the world is, but I can't take care of everybody. If I try, I would only succeed in causing more misery.

    Parable of the weeds:

I'm in the garden pulling weeds. "You can't live here." (yank) "You either." (yank)
Some weeds are more determined, so I got a jug of herbicide. Now it's like, "You can't live here" (Squirt squirt).
Some weeds are trees, so I get out the saws and burn them in the fire.

If I'm going to have a garden worth anything, it has to be managed. I can't let whatever move in.

    Parable of the animals:

I put an ad up giving away geese for free. Healthy, full-grown geese, free, just come n get. One guy calls and says he'll come tomorrow between 4-5pm. Tomorrow comes and I'm waiting. Finally at 6pm I get a message that he's changed his mind. Ok, so I put the ad back up. Another guy says he would contact me tomorrow evening. I wait, but never heard from the guy again. I took the ad down and decided to keep the geese rather than being further disappointed in humanity.

People are animals with no consideration for anyone else. If you think I'm going to take my fences down and share my resources with them, I'll be building snowmen in July before that happens!

So what?......In comparison: what have YOU contributed to this world? All I've seen so far is a lot of whining.......not much action besides running the mouth...or typing fingers.....????

Ones insistence upon placing a label on everything and everyone must be more than exhausting, no?....Alas, its also irritating....

I'd bet most of us posting (posing) in these pages wouldn't have lasted too long simply conversing with either Einstein or Alan Watts.....One can suspect that particularly those who often quote both of them around here, but understand them less, and who admittedly and obviously spend a lot of time 'inside their own heads, watching TV and aren't READING enough books or getting OUT in the world meeting people.....which only limits ones perspective, intellect....and of course, the ability to have deep discussions about even deeper subjects.....

This THREAD provides some excellent examples....of apes simply aping.....

I'll contribute something right now. It's called "Tu quoque" (Latin for, "you also") or the appeal to hypocrisy and it's an informal logical fallacy that intends to discredit the validity of the opponent's logical argument by asserting the opponent's failure to act consistently in accordance with its conclusion(s). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tu_quoque

In other words, whether I contribute anything or not is completely irrelevant to the claim I made about einstein.

All I've seen so far is a lot of whining.
Maybe because you spend too much time in front of mirrors?

No idea. I wasn't the one who labeled einstein a genius.

I could hang with Alan, but Albert would be a little dry for me.

Yeah, let's complain about and label those people. Who are they?

"I will say, then, that I am not now, nor never have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social or political equality of the white and black races. I am not now, nor never have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor of intermarriage with white people; and I will say, in addition to this, that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which, I believe, will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. Inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together, there must be a position of superior and inferior, and I, as much as any other man, am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white man." - Abraham Lincoln

"The money powers prey upon the nation in times of peace and conspire against it in times of adversity. The banking powers are more despotic than a monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. They denounce as public enemies all who question their methods or throw light upon their crimes." - Abraham Lincoln.
